SINGAPORE, 12 August 2021 – Accredify, Singapore’s leading provider of verifiable digital documents, today announced that it has successfully completed the surveillance audit of its ISO 27001 certification which was awarded last July for its information security management system (ISMS). 

As part of the Accredify’s commitment to protecting client information, the firm is audited for its conformance to ISO 27001 annually. This successful annual audit serves as a declaration that Accredify’s information security system operates holistically in the best interests of their clients and provides users with the confidence and assurance of the firm’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of information security and data protection.  

Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 27001 is an international standard with the purpose of helping organisations make information assets they hold more secure. Organisations that have been awarded the ISO 27001 certification have met the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving their ISMS with the purpose of preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.  

The ISO 27001 standard comprises 14 control sets and more than 100 controls that an organisation’s ISMS is required to conform to with respect to information security and data protection. Some of these control sets include information security policies, human resource security, access control, cryptography, and compliance.
